My game isn't working with vista?

Hello all,
I just subscribed and I just purchased football mogul 2007. I installed it on my new pc with vista ultimate but it just gives me the loading database when i try to run it. I'm new at vista as well so I don't know ( I just got it from FedX yesterday) how to make it run. Thank you

I've noticed my sound card isn't compatible either when i play Football Mogul.
