Is the play by play mode good? I hope its better than in the 99 version, because that always bugged up on me. Thanks, and if maybe i could find a little about that feature...thanks

Hi, RedsRule -

The Play by Play is very similar to the way it was done in BBM99.

The reason we removed the Play by Play in BBM2K was precisely because of the bugs you described.

But due to popular demand, we have restored the play by play, and we made an extra effort to remove the bugs that were causing it to crash. It works much better now.

Speaking of Play by Play...I had this idea:

It would be more fun if we could make the calendar have a mode where the scores are hidden. Then you could click the link to see the play by play, and read it as the action unfolds, so you can enjoy it like a real game instead of seeing Mets 17, Braves 16 (15 innings).

If you just want to do it for an upcoming game, go into play-by-play mode and choose play one day from the menu (or use F12) - it'll take that day's game through play-by-play mode.

For the CD or the online game? I was talking about the online version. I'd like to read the play by play before I know what the score is so I can experience it like a real game instead of having the ending spoiled.

Ah.. My mistake. I was talking CD since that's what the original question referred to.

Play by play doesn't seem to make much sense to me in the online version, unless there's only one game per sim - and you can check in every sim. But maybe that's just me.
