People are saying this is an entirely different kind of gaming experience. You are actually doing it physically and not just pushing buttons on the controller. It is on my wish list right now.

I was enticed by this whole WII phenomenon....and went to my little cousins house to try it out. He put in bowling, boxing, and tennis and frankly, the word overrated doesn't say it enough. Yes, its cool to do it yourself, but to sacrifice gameplay, and graphics in a big way for it just doesn't get it done for me.:(

There is something to be said for how intuitive the Wii is. The classic arcade games were intuitive also, but sometime starting in the 90s things got entirely out of hand.

Try to beat the CPU at Tennis to become a "pro" - also the "Sports" disk is a 6 set game other Wii games are way harder & precise (try Tiger Woods' or Sonic)

I love wii baseball, I got a wii back in January. Sure its simple, but batting is really fun, during batting, If I move the wii remote back and forth, it shows up on the screen, and I can pretend I'm Gary Sheffield, then the next batter, I'll change my stance and be Jeter, or Ken Griffey. When you get into it like that, its really fun.

The pitching is alright, you can change speeds and there are 4 pitches to choose from, and 2 delivery angles. The splitter is nasty, and extremely hard to hit. However, if you get real good, you can tell when its coming. Also, once your a pro, it gets tough! They throw 102-103 MPH fastballs, 96 Curves, and splitters that dip so low, argh! So overall, yeah I like it.

And Yeah, like FrenchRedSox said, its supposed to be simple. Its kind of like a demo to show you how innovative the controller is. The wii is capable of much greater graphics than that, so don't be afraid of the graphics. (although graphics aren't all that important to me! Go SNES!)

That view seems to be gaining quite a bit of traction recently, and I have to say that I'm really glad about it. Graphics are great where appropriate, but they've become way overblown in many respects. I've held the view that graphics are secondary for... well, a long time. It really pisses me off when designers get the graphics bug anymore, because then we get situations like Europa Universalis III which is a strategy game with the graphics engine from a first person shooter game! argh!

I'd never heard of that game, so I looked it up, and it sounds pretty cool, but it would never work on this computer because I doubt it could handle the graphics. Looking at the pictures, theres no need for graphics like that, it could have been just as good with worse graphics that an older comp can handle. It reminds me of when I got Age of Empires III for christmas, and that could barely run on this comp, so now I'm just saving it until we get a nice one.

Just bought "Tiger" & for all the guys who play Golf on a comp or a "system" this game is "phenomenal" - both graphic & skill wise - makes PS3 look like a "kids" game!! Wonder what NFL is like (next buy)................

I love Wii baseball. The graphics and game play are great. I really enjoy playing defense and pitching.

I just bought the Wii!

The games that come with it aren't great, obviously - in tennis, you just shake the controller and the player does all the moving, diving, precision hitting, etc. Baseball you don't actually field...the AI does it, and a poor job...but the games are fun for the girlfriend, and family, which is what the Wii was aimed at overall.

I also bought The BIGS, and the controls to that are so amazingly difficult I haven't gotten anywhere in it yet. Anyone play it on Wii yet? You have to use one control to move, and another to dive, aim....its tough. Much different that gamepads...it makes me crave the gamepad at first, but appreciate the ingenuity at the same time, to have gone in sucha different direction.
