Just curious if anyone has ever heard of grandslambaseball.com? It was actually the sim I used to play before I found this one. The owners pretty much bailed on it, dunno what happened. It was an outstanding sim. Anyone ever try it, remember it, or know about it??? Figure that it was at one time a competitor of BBMO, maybe someone knows.

I really don't know why my original post was moved. I'm in agreement it is rediculous to move someones thread w/o stating where you moved it to. This is the BBMO "General Questions" thread. I'm positive that many in the bbmo online community do not look in the obscure sports game thread in the sports mogul forum. I'd like those in the online community to see this as they may have familiarity with it. Its not marketing for another game if thats a concern, grandslambaseball isn't even operational anymore!!

It was outstanding...really pissed the community off when the provider just bailed.

I loved GSB.

After that one guy figured out the algorithm for how players develop it got a little stale for a while. IIRC the owner/operator/admin developed a new formula compelling enough to get several signups and then shut down shop.

Try the message board section at www.rotoguru.com for a great deal of nostalgia about gsb and several people dedicated to sim sports online.
