Started a new game (new mog file) 2007 year. Using 10.24. When I went in a look at players, lots and lots of them are missing dates of birth. In fact, the only thing listed under vitals for a lot of them is Bats/Throws, Height/Weight stuff, and that's it. 2 lines. I'm not even sure if that's a problem, but went looking into my input\players folder and noticed when I updated to version 10.24, it replaced some csv files and renamed the old ones csv.bak. Anyway, if you notice all the other new files are at least close in size to the files they replaced except for master.csv. The new master.csv is only slightly larger than 200K, whereas the old master.csv was 2.8meg. Could this be a problem???

Hmm.. seems there is.
Notice the 2 other CSVs besides the Master (batting & pitching). They're both smaller than the BAK files.

I've got 10.25C and I don't have any .bak files...

Could it be the result of using a disk cleaning utility reguarly??? I don't know why you wouldn't see BAK files, because there were several included when I updated to 10.24. The BM2008 root directory included BAK files for the BM2008 executable (BB2K8.exe.bak) once it replaced that file, and a BAK help file (BaseballMogul2008.chm.bak) when it updated that file as well.
Anyway, the size differential makes me wonder, only because the new mog file I started includes LOTS and LOTS of players without and vital data other Bats/Throws and Height/Weight. No date of birth, no college data, etc. I am still wondering if this is a problem or not. I guess those guys without birthdates will never die :).

I had a big long post that I was going to reply with, but then the boards went down again (for maintenance, I guess)...
Anyway, reinstall the game using the "repair installation" option. Something is wrong with your install.
