I am curious if anyone knows if the peak time for a player is always going to be the same in each of the games?

Are players usually going to develop the same in each of the games or do you guys notice large differences in player development (i am talking about young established players, such as Furcal or Durazo) It seems that Furcal never does much and is usually a back up in a year or two, and I have noticed that Durazo tears it up (56 hrs in one league).

I am just curious to know what you guys think on the how much difference you have seen in player development...

The peak development age for every player is completely random in each league. Every time a new league is started (or a new game is started on the CD game), the peak ages are completely randomized.

Consistently seeing players fizzle could be a result of how the player was rated by the development volunteers who created the database. If the development volunteer creates Furcal to hit .270 at peak, it's probably not going to be likely to see Furcal consistently hit .360.
