When is there going to be an official patch of 10.26? What is still being worked on that is holding up 10.26?

The only answer to this question really can be "when Clay decides." Nobody here has any inside information besides Clay and Ian.

Maybe they will but this is not a bug report.

The Trading Block slowdown in 10.25F is serious enough to hold up an official patch. Although I have just fixed it. The other big issue is the patch installer crashing in Windows Vista. Ian thinks he's fixed this and is testing now.
While Ian's been working on the Vista issue, I'm trying to fix as many 4-star and 5-star bugs as I can.
So there will definitely be a 10.25G before there's a new official patch.

It was a question about a patch. I think it's safe here. If it bothers you so much Rick, why don't you apply for a job as a Thread Maintenance Technician. Or are you do get enough satisfaction now telling people what theatre number their movie is in?

If you don't stop with the attitude of your post. I will be forced to take you off the boards.

But it's okay for Statler & Waldorf to do nothing but give their opinions on what board a post should be in?

My apologies....I was trying to be helpful not a smart mouth. I figured if we kept the bug discussions to bugs it may help Clay.....

So it should maybe go in general discussion......just a thought.....This is a good thought, but it's OK to post about patches in the Bug Reports forum, since that's where I post the unofficial patches. Just as long as they don't drown out the actual bug threads...

So there will definitely be a 10.25G before there's a new official patch.Update: Ian's visiting his Dad over a long weekend, and he's the expert fixing the installer issue on Vista.
So, if he gets it fixed, 10.25G should go up before midnight Thursday. Either way, the next official patch (which will actually be 10.27, not 10.26, for reasons I won't go into) won't be up until around July 11th at the earliest.

Yea, I don't really mind them either. I still end up moving them, but usually not until after a few replies.
:)
oh and, in general, telling someone that they've posted in the wrong place just comes across as rude. It almost always starts fights as well. I know how frustrating it can be sometimes to have people posting in the wrong place but... well, I take care of it. If someone's going to be angry about this stuff, I'd rather them be angry at me than any of you guys anyway.

Sorry Ohms....It was not intended to be rude but I will keep out of it next time.

That is true, doesn't matter if they did post in the wrong place or not, more often than not they will take offense.
But we did just hear it from the big man, its cool that it goes here, so right on.
