In the CD Rom version of the game you output the statistics for a team. [Tool - Output Stats]

Is there a way to do this on the online version? The reason I want this is that while I'm looking at the CONTRACTS screen it only has the POSITION, AGE and EARNING and SEEKING.

In making a decision it is important to know what you have on the entire team. On my Yanks team I have a bunch of third basemen and am trying to decide whether to sign a given one. This means I need to click on each player and try to compare them.

I've gotten to the point where I'm going to transcribe the information from the popup box to Excel. This will make it easier to gather and sort the information.

Thanks!

Sorry,
There is no way to output stats from the online game. However, you may find the Find Players screen useful for comparing players. For instance, you can select Third Basemen on the New York Yankees and then view all your third basemen lined up and compare their ratings in Contact, Power, Speed, Eye, Defense, and view their age and salary.

I was really only interested in doing this for MY TEAM.

In the game I'm in I have about 5 third basemen and about the same number of catchers. (The game just started. I have no idea why the team has so many players at the same position).

Anyway, I keep checking one player against another trying to figure out who'w a "keeper" and who I should let go. Doing housekeeping, so to speak.

I have a partial solution. When you click on a player, it brings up all the information in a window. [Window can't be resized]. By clicking on another player and superimposing one on another it is possible to figure out which is a better player.

To make the hassle a little worse, sometimes the server is slow bringing up the information. It would nice to be able to review roster data offline. Even a printout would be nice. [In particular I like to review the ratings for CONTACT, POWER, EYE, etc.]

Part of the problem is that the team is very new to me and there are a lot of minor league players. [Yankees]

PS... There are quite a few dead links in the HELP system.

I see your point. However, I don't see why you couldn't use the Find Players screen; just select your team in the drop down box next to where you choose positions. For instance, doing a search of third basemen on the Yankees in one league produces, six matches, showing the five main ratings, age, and salary.
