Cyberdunk (www.cyberdunk.com?ref=28092)
Tied 97-97 with three seconds left in the game. Your teammate inbounds the ball to you. What do you do? Are you going to pass the ball effectively like Steve Nash, shoot the three like Reggie Miller or just shoot an awe inspiring last second shot like Michael Jordan with ease? In a browser based basketball mmorpg like Cyberdunk, you can.
Cyberdunk is a fairly new game that was created a little more then four months ago by an incredible staff. In Cyberdunk, the first and most important thing to do is to make a character. What kind of basketball player do you want to become? Here in Cyberdunk you can literally be anything! You could be a fat, seven foot point guard, a short and skinny center who shoots threes or a defensive shooting guard with great blocking abilities. All these attributes can be done in the character creation mode in Cyberdunk. Obviously, you won't get so far and might do fairly worse if you really were a 5'11 foot 3-point shooting center.
The skills you could focus on are: inside shooting, floor shooting, 3-Pt shooting, dribbling, passing, stealing, rebounding, blocking, strength, speed, jumping, stamina and last but not least confidence. All of these attributes are important, but it is up to you to focus on key skills that you want to become. These skills can be improved by paying trainers to train you or by buying Cyberpoints (100 Cyberpoints=1 U.S. dollar). The good thing is you can earn Cyberpoints by winning future contests, refer your friends and/or blog about Cyberdunk, Talkdep and Focusdep.
With these skills comes a new feature of Cyberdunk, Tactics! Tactics are of course tactics in which you can you when you play in your game. Examples of the tactics feature are: Settting how hard or easy you want to play, what kind of shots that you want to take (inside, jump shots , 3-Pointers), who you want to pass the ball team, how long you will hold onto the ball, and what kind of player you want to be (a special team player like Steve Nash , normal style player who shoots and passes or even a ballhog-hero like Kobe).
Since over 70,000 people are playing Cyberdunk, there are many leagues in all sorts of countries. So if you want to play for the country of Greece, China, Lithuania, USA, Japan, Philippines and many more countries you can! One great feature of Cyberdunk is that Cyberdunk players can purchase teams with Cyberpoints and manage them! The owners can set ticket prices, increase stadium seats, name your team, sign and release players, rig games, give them bonuses as well as having their own tactics for their players during the games.
There are a cornucopia of things to do in Cyberdunk. You can bet money on games, buy new equipment that will boost your skills, play on 1-1 tournaments and much more. So do you want to be a superstar? Get awards, trophies, bonuses and to be known across the Cyberdunk world? Do you want to be a hero in the game or just be a bench warmer? The choice is yours so why not join Cyberdunk and become a fellow baller to the first and best Basketball MMORPG in the world!
