Crash fixed when trading during Amateur Draft
Tight End talent 'dropoff' fixed
Long-term talent trends re-written (most notably, offensive line talent was reduced so sack totals don't plummet in first 3-5 seasons)
Improved budget AI and more accurate grades for 'Medical' and 'Scouting' on Finances Page
Run defense effectiveness reduced in goal-line situations
Slightly revised 'star' ratings for pre-game Matchup Dialog
Tackling engine tweaked (for example awarding more solo tackles to linebackers, to better match real life)
Improved pass progression (increasing distribution of receptions among receivers)
Position changing fixed so it doesn't create 'super-players'

Do I have to re-install the game after I get the patch? I did both the 5.170 and 5.180 and it tells me I have to re-install the game..somebody please let me know if this is true. Thanks.

No...
Did you ever have the demo installed? If you uninstall the demo and the game, and reinstall the game and (just the latest) patch, it should work fine from now on.

I uninstalled the game, re-installed it and still tells me I don't have the FULL version of the game...I can't use the 2 new patches for some reason..can anybody help me? thanks.

Save the download file, and then open it.
Did you using the Windows Add/Remove programs tool in order to uninstall the game, or did you simply delete the files?

Im also stuck on this, I reinstalled the game and tried the patch and still won't let me install either one, says I don't have the full game, I have the cd version..

when i try to sign a free agent during the season. The font is blue and green on a green screen. When i go up or down in salary or bonus, the font seems to double over itself to the point where you can see what the numbers are saying. Does anyone else have this problem. What do i need to do to change it?

I'm using the latest unofficial patch -- 5.180 and yes that also happened to me. It disappeared when I changed skins, check the mods section.
