Can you make a team in a country other than the US and Canada? Like England, Italy, Japan, etc.

I don't see why not...for example, it seems to me, possible to create a Winter Ball League by means of creating cities e.g. "Mexico City"; "Panama City"; "Bogota"; etc in the League Editor, plus a study of the Winter Ball setup (via Google).
Once you've set up a league of six or more cities from different Tropical countries, BM will construct a scedule for them...the only awkward thing would be the dates, but, if you cared to, you could always doctor these in the box-scores, thus a game shown by BM as taking place on June 25th, could be edited by you, in the box score as having taken place on December 25th
I see the sub-menu "City Editor"in the "League" as key...once you've invented London, what's to stop you from staging the World Series at that hallowed shrine of cricket, Lords?:D

you can't, really. I made some educated guesses when adding Mexico City, Toronto, and Montreal to my city set... That's really the best that anyone could do.

The CIA World Factbook might be useful. A good rule of thumb is to take the national per capita income, add 50% for a capital and 30% for a major city and then use "regional population" of whatever province, state, etc. the city is in.

I'm tempted to create an Iraqi baseball league. We learned enough about their cities during the media coverage of the War. :p

there are huge lists of foreign cities in the games folder.
player names as well.
i have been wondering if i can just copy / paste them over the defaults.
(after having made a back up, of course)
thus creating say a South American league with all players having spanish names. (or japan or whatever).
very curious about this actually.
one COULD eliminate all players above certain age / skill level / ratings
change the cities ,poof ... youre playing "aaa" ball ...

I assume you can find out how much money people make in major Canadian cities, since Canada is no third-world country!:D

Actually, we use the barter system up here...I have it on good authority that the bloke who recently parlayed a paper-clip into a house, was, in fact, a Canadian
