just wondering if it would be possible for you, Clay, to increase the limit of the PM box, maybe from 30 messages to 100?

30 is kind of small

Just noticing that too. Would be good if possible.

It's possible. Clay just has to change it in the vBulletin options.

Actually, an alternative would be for Dee to set up a (semi- ?)private forum for Moderator communication. I've brought it up with her before, and she's sort of against it, but was basically willing to do it if I asked again. So, I'll just throw this out here.
The two other forums that I've been a moderator on, we've had a "mods only" forum to use. Dee's main concern seems to be that we'll run wild and badmouth people on there, but in my experience that sort of thing is extremely rare. Even when it does occur, it's often better for it to occur "in private" among just the mods and the admins then for it to eventually boil over and end up affecting the forums in general, in a way. Still, I see her point... so, opinions?

I was assuming there was a mod only forum, weird that there isn't.

Yeah, and I've been on sites where the mods slip up and mischannel badmouthing of people - it's actually funny as heck when it happens.

Yeah, every forum I've been on has had a mod-only forum as well.

One thing you can do is download your PM's to your hard drive then delete them off.

30 is small and I think you mod's should have your own "space" to discuss things, vent, etc.

Like a notepad? I've seen those in those in forums, too.

Why would we run amok? :)

I ran out of PM space myself and tried to bump it up but couldn't find the setting. :-)
I'll look through the docs again and see what I can do.

Yeah, there's definately an option somewhere. I'm on other vbulletin sites where the limits are as high as 1,000

Perhaps Dee had you, specifically, in mind, Rob:D

Do people prefer to PM others on this board vs the PM's you can send from within BMO?

Use both myself. Sometimes the regular fills up pretty quickly. But the BMO ones are nice because they're faster.

PM's only for Drafts...BMO PM's are cluttered for drafts... I only use the BMO PM's for quick messenging.
