Good news: Advertisers want to advertise on BMO.

Bad news: They all want to run annoying ads like this one:

Should we just stick with Google?

For what it's worth, I'd stick with Google. However... there's a trade off here. income vs. customer base, basically. There are a minority of customers who won't put up with more aggressive advertising at all, and will simply cancel their accounts. Most people will just complain though, which can end up being plenty of trouble. Google is at least nice about their advertising.

Depends, unfortunately,on the Y brought in ....if the difference is minimal then "stick" with Google, but if it is like 100k then go with the link - I'm sure Clay & Co. could use the money ( & re-invest some into BMO...;) )

Yeah, another benefit of BMO is that it can run on low end computers. I can't even open ESPN.com on my computer, and it has a lot of big flashy ads.

As long as it isn't so much it's annoying . . . I figure, if it brings you extra income and allows you to upgrade BMO it's a win-win situation.

Those of us who have been around a while get the upgrades we've been complaining about and you get extra $$$

If it helps improve the online game, then bring the ads.

If it gives you the money to upgrade BMO...DO IT!

As long as the ads don't have audio or super fast flashing text, I'm cool with whatever and will still continue to click on them as long as they're even remotely interesting.

Which is the aim of advertising ;)
