Is there a lineup deadline?

I changed my lineup and rotation for the last sim of the season, in order to avoid injuries to my stars before the playoffs and to get my pitchers rested so I would be able to set my rotation exactly how I wanted it in the postseason.

Yet, my regular pitchers all pitched despite being in the minors, and one of them (a 23-game winner) went down for 17 games.

The reason your pitchers pitched was that the last three games of the season, minor league pitchers will pitch for you. That is why your pitchers that you thought were put in the minors actually pitched in the majors

I can't say I'm happy, but at least I know that I did it to myself....
