Durazo at Catcher

In CD Rom game I can switch Durazo to catcher and his defense is A+ across the board, but if he plays catcher on the online version he's terrible. I'd like to move Alex Ecobar a CF to LF, but his fielding percentage takes a huge hit when I do so. Any chance we'll be able to change a player's position in the future? Or can we and I'm just missing how to do it?
