Someone please cancel this guy's account...

He's ruined two leagues that I've been in... At one point taking control of ATL, BOS and NYY, and stacking the Yankee team so that he had the Braves pitching, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Manny Ramirez, Nomar, Pedro, etc...

Now he's in my Beta 124 Hourly league, and he's the CLE team, and the COL team is mysteriously stacked... McGwire, Kendall, Biggio, Renteria, Alou... Clemens, Finley, Glavine...

It's stupid, and it ruins the league for me... Now that I know he's in there, I'm quitting that league. I hate to do it, cuz some of my friends are in there, but it's a waste of time. 10 of the top 50 players are on that team, and it just sucks.

Sorry, but something has to be done to stop this guy from ruining the leagues. I really want to get deep in one of these, but people like metallicafan4888 continue to screw it up.

I've sent him and email asking for his input, and asking him to set things right if he has been cheating. (Reverse the trades, offer them to other players, or release them.)

Ian is out today, so we don't have our crystal ball to see just what has been going on. But we can check into it later if things don't improve.

I'm sorry for the problems. Hopefully the new team budget limits will help to prevent this kind of player stockpiling in the future.

Thank you very much for your reply. I realize that it is difficult to stop these types, but I appreciate the effort.

I'm looking for some other leagues to join, and in one league, 'sportjones' has a team that looks very similar... Manny, A-Rod, Helton, I-Rod, Vlad, etc.

So before I commit to a league, I'm forced to go ahead and check each teams roster to make sure that they aren't stockpiling...


When are new leagues going to start? I'd like to start with a fresh league, as opposed to starting in the middle of a season...

I understand that we will be creating some more new leagues today. Check back in the evening or tomorrow morning and see if they are up yet.

Search for a new league from your "My Account" page, and leave the box checked for "New Leagues Only"
