At least they stopped the bleeding after that 27th loss!

Whats the worst teams you've seen?

TB Devil Rays expansion team
Sold off every high priced and good players that were over 30
Found starters from FA left-over pile on March 1st to keep my prospects in the minors.

I went 6-154 as my worst season and had a combined win total of 29 for my first three season then I let all my top prospects hit the majors at once immediately producing a 70-win season. It took me one more season after that to make the playoffs. Never won a series with that group though and most were gone by 2007 when I quit.

Normally if you create 2 expansion teams they get under 10 wins. I had one team that won like 3. After that year the were projected for -1-163 as their record

Would that be 164 losses?

nope. If you lost them all it'd be 0-162 then if you take awaya a win (-1) and add a loss (163) it'd be (-1)-163

This remind me of this time:

I was doing a dynasty with the Twins that started in the 2007 season. Two years later (2009 season), the Yankees went 43-119 with almost the same exact team as 2007.I was like "WTF"? Then I look in the NL and guess what?
The Pittsburgh Pirates are 105-57.Their team wasn't much better either...

The Pirates aged, and because most of their players are young and they have some good prospects they got better. In 2 years, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada and company won't be as good as they were in 2007.

That's pretty much it.

That's impossible. There are 162 games. -.-

Check this one out...for a rookie debut. I switched teams after winning 7 of 8 WS titles, to the worst team in the league - the Pirates. After 4 of my 5 starters land on the DL (), I am calling up all sorts of people. This is my most promising AA starter, in his first two innings of major league work. Hello, 49.50 ERA.

I had no idea the AI had such a horrible grudge against me. It ended up as a 20-0 loss to the Braves.

Hah, thanks, I'll tell that to him so he doesn't go home and hang himself.

It's really a challenge to try to manage a small-market team, especially with the ungodly injuries (My ace and #3 starter are both out for the season) and player unhappiness (only the guys making $3+ mil are happy). But 11 runs?? 4 homers?? in two innings?!? I think the opposing pitcher tripled off of him, too. Man, what a blow to the ego.
