I dont know if this is a bug or not or if anyone else has noticed this, but when I use any reliever, any reliever I have and put them into a playoff game they seem to give up hit after hit and walk alot of batters in innings 7 and later. The only way I can seem to pitch out of an inning without giving up about 5 runs is to pitch in player mode. However in season mode my relievers were alot more lights out than are in the playoffs and this is the 2nd season of playoffs and its the same thing and I even have a couple different relief pitchers.

First, I know for a fact that it's not a bug. The simulation results are the same whether or not you're playing a playoff game.
Second, keep in mind that you're facing much better competition in the playoffs then during the world series. Obviously, for a team to qualify for the playoffs, they must have been one of the best teams in the league.
Finally, Welcome to the Baseball Mogul community!

It's just a perception issue. In this thread (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=119283), there were a few people complaining that their relievers always seemed to be greeted with a home run, especially in close games, and that closers sucked except when used in the 9th inning. Clay said that there's nothing in the code that would make that true. And then, in this post (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showpost.php?p=856081&postcount=41), lkcostas ran a test by saving at the point right when the reliever comes in, and playing that at bat multiple times, and he actually tried it in both a regular season game and a playoff game, and the results speak for themselves. :)
