On Contract Holdouts

Generally, the longer a player is without a contract the lower his contract demands will be. However, last off-season in the Daily Normal 1 League several players on my club whose contracts were expiring at the end of the season that was about to start raised their contract renewal demands. This is different than it was in the past. Is this what the players will do now on the final sim before the season starts?

From my experience you are right... contract demands can go either way...

In the Western 20 I had a young stud go from 60 points early in his final year to 120 points by the end of the season... I signed him to a one year contract... the next season he went from demanding 130 points early to 80 points at the end... this is only one of many examples I have...
