Yankees win against former Yankee Jake Westbrook. Westbrook earns a no decision in loss he was cut from the Yankees Last November and went back to Cleveland New York won in the 12th on a walk RBI by Jorge Posada. The Yankees are now 26-6 and have a 5 game lead over Boston. Farnsworth blew a two run lead with a game tying homerun in the 8th by Grady Sizemore. Brian Bruney pitched in the 10, 11, and 12th inning to get a win.

NY Times
Darin Erstad has agreed to a 1 Year, $2,350,000 deal with the New York Yankees and will be coming off the bench.

Alex Rodriguez has achieved his 2,500 Hit off his 10th Home Run of the season, and 575th Home Run of his career.

Chris Britton is now the 4th Starter for the Yankees.
Andy Pettite is now the 5th Starter for the Yankees.

I feel Andy Pettite is not completely healthy his pitching has been inconsistent he is currently 2-0 in 6 starts with a 4.11 Era and has 4 no decisions. His contract is up at the end of the season.

Johan Santana is now the #1 Starter
Roger Clemens is now the #2 Starter

I made the switch because I am worried that Clemens age may cause him to collapse or pitch terribly in a big game. He is the New Rotation.

#1 Johan Santana
#2 Roger Clemens
#3 Chien-Ming Wang
#4 Chris Britton
#5 Andy Pettite

I have never seen the yankees do so well with the same players. Are you using 2k8? Also, did you give any players a rating boost? Just curious how you are so succesful :)
