I've noticed that all your graphical Icons use Port 81. This is blocked by most company firewalls. Is there a valid reason not to use port 80?. It's not a big deal until your on the trading block screen, contract , or standings screen. If port 81 is a neccessity, could you add a text letter after the icon.

It would be nice to be able to sort the AAA er's. Just a thought but if you numbered the AAA spots we could switch and sort them or in the drop box under AAA put a Down and Up to swap with the player above or below.

Gift card program?? We have a great gm in our league that is having some difficulty is there a way to buy time for other players???

I'll point out your Port question to the developers...

Just curious, why would you want to sort the minor leaguers? It wouldn't serve any in-game purpose...and if you really wanted to, you can already do it like this:

Player A in the minors, spot 6
Player B in the minors, spot 1
Player C in Bench 6

You want to put Player A in AAA spot 1

Put player B in the majors in place of Player C. Swap player A and player B, putting A in the majors and B in spot 6. Swap Player A with Player C, putting C back in Bench 6 and A in AAA Spot 1.

I'm told that we use the different port number in order to transfer the load off of our main webserver, and onto a simpler webserver that just handles images.

That's a translation of what I heard from Ian. :D

But the suggestion that the images are not making it through firewalls is a good one. Thanks for pointing it out. Maybe we'll see if there is a different workaround we can find.

Yes the sorting is just a bell. I took over a computer run team and almost all of the player spots were full. I lost players all the time. When there are 17 players in the AAA it helps to sort them out. Yes I am currently doing the triple swap to arrange them, but I'm used to my 2003 up and down buttons :D.

Ok- makes sense to me! Does anyone else have an interest in having the AAA slots numbered?

i do ...i like to sort the kids in aaa ......the players who are almost rdy. at the top.....the not so rdy kids at the bottom...also for injured players

I completely agree, great idea. Or they could even be sorted by position. But still a pretty cosmetic feature.

I'd like to be able to sort them too. Every once in a blue moon a minor league pitcher will have to start. It sucks when it's a crappy player that happens to be in the first spot. Not a huge problem, just a little "Doh!".

When would a minor leaguer start in the majors without being manually inserted into the lineup (except for the last 3 games of the season when you have clinched a playoff berth)?

I'll put a request in for numbering the AAA spots, since there seems to be demand for it...thank you for your feedback!
