All,
I've downloaded the 2007 EHM demo to try out. I like it and want to buy it, but I have a question.
I noticed that 2007 came out in Jan 2007.
Does anyone know if they put out new versions every year? If so, I'll wait until 2008 and buy it then. (Unless they have no-cost upgrades). I really don't want to buy 2007 if 2008 is coming out in a couple of months.
Thanks

So if I understand right, If I want to get the game, I should buy the 2007 version since there will be no more updates.

Ok, I guess I'll plunk down my money, although I hate buying a sim that won't be updated, but by playing the demo, I got hooked...... Dastardly Devils:)
Another question, is the download like the Moguls, you download it and then can put it on other machines (e.g. work & home)

No. SI uses a licensing thing, so you can only run the full version on the computer which you purchased the download on.
Edit: There's some method to transfer the license to another computer, but i have no clue how to use it.

Actually I did some digging while I was waiting on their site and came up with:
"If you decide you like the game and would like to play the full version you can choose to
a) Pay via our webstore. This is via a secure webpage and you will be notified via email of your ORDER ID which can be used to activate the product (see Step 4)
b) Pay via the desktop dialogs. This is a seamless process that means once your payment information has been verified the game will begin and you will never see these screens again
You are able to install the game on two machines of your choice concurrently"
Also, their site isn't intuitively obvious to use if you want to buy the game :(

Try heading over to this forum and asking the question there. I have no idea either but there a great bunch of guys and they are working on a great update project going on. To be honest I think the game has a very strong following so hopefully they will release the code sometime soon so this great game can go forward. Wishful thinking but my fingers are crossed!! ;)
Anyway here you go.

Ah, well that's cool. I always just assumed that it would only work on one system.

well it depends, basically they give you two licenses when you buy the game, so if you put it on both but had to reformat one, i don't think you could get the full version on there again.
Also if you want updates check out The Blue Line (http:///www.ehmtheblueline.com) they are a EHM community that is still active and release numerous updated rosters, team logos, all sorts of customization stuff for EHM.
