I have noticed that there are some offensive players in AAA that do not get much playing time while there. Calvin Golia of the Yankees only seems to play like 25 games in AAA per season when i have him in AAA all year.
If i had to guess the problem, i would guess that somewhere in the coding someone put him as a pitcher instead of as a 3rd basemen which would explain why he only plays about 1/5 of the AAA season. It's like he only plays every 5th day as a pitcher would.

Yea, I've seen this too. I had a 2B that got 15-20 at bats per season in the minors. Seemed strange.

I have a C who in four years of combined major/minor experience has only played in 15 games

I've come to the conclusion that the AAA manager must deal with the same playing time issues as a real manager. In other words, if you have three AAA second basemen, they're only gonna get 50 or so starts each. Could this be causing the results detailed above?
Takaplan you finished "passing on" the report?

I email the bug report to James Grove the day that I respond to the post.

Mea Culpa!
I have passed it on to Clay. Unfortunately, it's kindof a low priority bug since it doesn't have a major impact on the gameplay.
And Clay is pretty busy working on Football Mogul right now, so mostly it's just the big bugs that grab his attention.
We've got it on our list, and we'll try to fix it when we tackle some of the other bugs lurking around.
