This bug is pretty minor and should be easy to fix.

The Situtation
Here is the problem. If you roster is full or nearly full, the system will not allow you to bid anymore. For example, if you have 29 pitchers on your staff and are not leading for any pitchers, you are free to bid. The minute you become the leading bidder on another pitcher, you are locked out of the bidding process.

The Problem
The purpose of this is pretty clear. The bidding system does not want anyone to get more players than the roster maximum. This is fine. My issue is this.... If I just bid 8 points on Chad Fox, I may want to continue bidding on Chad Fox. I am the leading bidder, I may want to raise my bid. I may want to set a MAX BID. I may want to bid on a longer contract. Again, all on Chad Fox, where I am the leading bidder.

Desired Fix
The desired fix is to allow bidding on players where you are the leading bidder. It is fine to be locked out of all other players.

Ok...a very minor problem.

We'll work on it and try to get it fixed, but there are a few other bugs that are higher on the priority list.

Hi, George -

I'm afraid Tom is right.

Right now we are working hard on getting Football Mogul ready to go, so we haven't had much time to work on non-mission-critical bugs.

But we'll get to this as soon as we can free up some programming resources.

Meanwhile, here is a work-around. Find your absolute worst pitcher -- the rookie who stinks and will never amount to anything. Then Release him. This will free up a spot in your roster and let you keep bidding.

My solution for last year was to trade a couple of my pitchers to friends who had spare slots (and I trusted).

At the end of free agency he gave me my pitchers back. I gave him an extra player for his trouble.

Again thanks for responding. I would like to see this get on the list but obviously it is not a critical issue.
