What if my team is just completely losing (I've chosen to use Montreal and try to dig them out of the hole their in) but what if I can't and I go bankrupt (even though they pretty much already are) is there any way to leave a league and join another? I don't want to pay $4.95 a month and not be able to do nothing...

technically, you can come and go as you please with private leagues. But beware, if you get a rep as one who ruins a team and leaves all the time, Commissioners will not want you in their leagues.
I think the public leagues have a rule that you can't quit 1 league and rejoin that same league for like 2 weeks.

Frost is correct, with the clarification that you can't rejoin a given public league for 1 week after you quit it. This is to prevent people from signing up as Atlanta, trading all their great players to New York, then quitting Atlanta and joining the new and improved New York.
If your team is in bankruptcy, you can still play. You just can't sign free agents etc. so you have fewer options.
But, for example, you can trade some of your players away for cash which will lower your payroll and put money in your pocket simultaneously.
We decided to let people pay by the month (and NOT to make people pay for each team they manage) to allow people the flexibility to join the league that suits them best.
Thanks for your interest,
James Grove
