Really can something be done about people dropping players before the player off ????

It is a very easy way for collusion, I do not see how a player could get Sosa a day or two before the WS............

It might seem like nothing to all of you, but it is something that does take away from the game alot.

That's true... While the game already shuts down trades, it should definitely shut down cutting players as well... Since that would make it harder to set up your team for the next year, perhaps they should still allow cutting players, and just shut down signing players?

In real baseball, there's a complicated waiver process, but the closest easy sim would just be to shut down free agent signing completely from the trading deadline until the world series...

i have to cut players right after the season because i have to go to work and want to make sure that i cut the players i can before the next season starts. I do agree that you should have a cutoff date for signing free agents. In Baseball you can trade for a player until july 31 then til aug 31(player must clear waivers). I think we should do that. Also teams have to have the playoff rosters listed by sept 1 i believe. That would solve your problem.
