Ever had a third of your lineup go for 0-for-7? This was too infuriating to not post:

that really is a long game with little offense. The funny thing is that I would of enjoyed simming a game like that. It would lower my E.R.A.'s for the staff. I enjoy playing the Deadball Era(1901-1920ish). There is no real homerun hitters back then so you have to rely on pitching and defense and lots of running. I always set the running all the way for that era no matter which team I have. Also, sure the offense was infuriating during that game of yours, but wasn't it neat to have a game that was all "small ball"?

It was fun and interesting - and I did like getting a few ERAs so low (although the poor losing pitcher is now 0-3 in his rookie season). I just wish, over 18 innings, we managed to put together more than 6 hits...at least a run now and then...wow.

We exploded for 18 runs over the next 2 games...just like happens in real life sometimes. Good stuff.

Some days you win, some days you lose, and some days you get rained out.

And then the day after you get rained out, you lose 30-3 in the first game of the doubleheader.:D
