This has been brought up before, but I just wanted to bring it up again since BM09 is coming (relatively) soon. I think these would add a very fun element to the game, and you can track how your players did as the year progressed.

For example, I'm PBPing w/ the Phillies and Michael Bourn hit something like .430 in August, raising his avg from .270 to .340. He then started off the new year with a .450 avg again in April, then hit around .111 for the month of May and killed his average. These are rough figures I got from looking at his gamelogs, but an exact description would be great.

..and while I'm at it, maybe add hitting streaks as a record?

As for 10.34 at least, hitting streaks show up in the transactions log when they're broken if they're over 20 games.

As for monthly splits, I'd like to see them. They can add nice flavor to dynasties.

Ya, this would be a good feature it couldnt be to hard to implement

Hitting streaks is a nice addition, but what about scoreless inning streaks for pitchers?

That would be nice as well, and certainly the monthly splits would be nice.

It'd be nice if there was a running hitting streak count/ scoreless inning streak count in every scouting report- so we can track if our players have a hitting/scoreless streak going...

totally agree. I'd love to see these streaks and monthly splits. I'd especially like the splits for the months so that you can see that a player may have been hot 2 months ago but he seems to be dropping off quite badly the last 30-45 days and might require being benched to still keep the team contending.
