1. I see the league is running, but my record is not moving. I dont know the baseball season however. It says its february, so is it the off season right now? And if so, I assume the off-season will last a whole real life day?

2. With pitching I just look at their ERA and Wins/Losses, is this correct? (in terms of how good they are)

2b. With batters I look at Average/HR/SB, is this correct?(in terms of how good they are)

3. Also, how important is age in this game? I realize you can be a 40 year old and still play baseball, but I always look for rookies to be around 22 and in this game lots of rookies are around 27-30.

4. I have no clue what PO is. I know that RF is fielder range or something, but do you want high numbers with RF or low numbers?

5. What does Auto-sort do?

6. Is there any way to pick what kind of players come through your farm system? In the Mogul 03 demo there is a function with slider bars.

7. If you put more money into your scouting or medical and then press the submit button, are there noticable effects right away, or not till the next season?

8. Where do you see each leagues rules? I realize some leagues are different from each other in terms of rules and things and have looked on some forums but they are not listed. Do you just have to ask the commish of each league?
Thanks.

1. It's the offseason. The new season will start on April 1.

2. I usually look at their W/L, ERA, OBA, and K's. That's just me though.

2b. It can be accurate, but I tend to look at everything as far as hitters go. 2B, 3B and Walks usually end up being pretty important too. Not to mention OBP and SLG.

3. Age is really important. And yea, lots of rookies seem like they're too old :p

Adam,
1. Depending on the speed of your league, the offseason could last as short as one day, to as long as a week.

2. Also look at their walks, strikeouts, opponent's OBA, hits, HR, CG, ShO, and their scouting rankings.

2b. Also look at BB, H, 2B, 3B, SLG, OBA, K, and their scouting rankings.

3. Most rookies are 25 or younger. Age is very important.

4. PO is putouts. Use the Range column to compare Range Factors, you want the highest Range as possible, so +50 is better than -50 (0 would be average).

5. Auto-Sort arranges your lineup as your scouts would.

6. Not yet, although we might eventually have this feature available online.

7. Not right away; your true rank in any of the expenses is your average rank over the past 162 regular season games.

8. If there are any league "house rules," they would be posted in the forums.
