From your experiences would you say that young players develop quicker in the minors or slower in the minors vs playing regularly in the bigs? Also, does playing in the minors help players recover stats after an injury? If so does playing in the majors also accomplish this?
I'll let you know when next season begins since my Minor league team is going to be my big league team, I worked hard to get a bunch of scrubs in the majors to play out this crappy season so i could develop my youth. I hope it has an affect because if it does not then im in trouble :)

From my bit of experience, they seem to develop faster in the minor league but only up to a certain point [my guess is whatever their maximum "potential" allows it to be]. Then, the development sort of levels off and they don't gain anymore. [Occasionally, a minor regression.] After that, it seems like they need actual "game time" in the majors to continue their improvement. This is with fairly high minor league spending [usually 1st or 2nd, which is doing an effective job of keeping most of my team teetering on the brink of unhappy financial situation, hee hee :)].
