There is no set release date. In the past, it's been released around Opening Day.

That's when Gamestop is said to be getting it. The game will likely be available before that.

I never understood why they don't do a public beta all the time.

With a private beta, you have the 10 best and most knowledgeable people playing this game beta testing and checking for bugs.

With a public beta, you have everyone, including the 10 best and most knowledgeable people beta testing and checking for bugs.
