The smaller the market of your team the more points you earn. Here is an example of my Milwaukee team in fast sim 4.

I got gready but did go to the world series 2 years in a row. after for straight years of being in the basement. And the reason i got out of the basement was edgar renteria. And a pitcher by the name of Freddy Tang who went 20-2 that year with a 1 something era . And stuck with me for the world series both years. After that i lost him to free agency and he has been downhill since. Most teams were in debt so he didn't play a full year, I tracked him down throught frind player mode and he is on detroit. And i think that one year really hurt him. HE was 5-5 this year with a 5 something era, my dynasty is clearly over i got gready and signed guys to very long term contracts losing 100's of points But as long as i play i plan to keep contending
