Inside The Park Homeruns

Anyone get very many of these in PBP? I've got a couple of guys that hit for decent power with speed in the 80's and the last couple of seasons I've seen probably 5 or 6 from my team alone. I play all the games in General Manager mode but found it funny that it happens with what I would call moderate frequency.

Ernie Banks has 2 so far this season alone (1966) and it's only June..:D

I once had Carl Crawford hit 12 of his 34(Strange) as inside the Parkers. Rocco Baldelli and Delmon Young each had 2 and Carlos Pena and Greg Norton each somehow hit 1. Weird.

I've seen these with startling frequency, but they just stick out in my mind because of how odd they are. In PBP Manager Mode I think I have seen 2 or 3 so far this year - July for me.

Side comment - Greg Norton should not be on your team, unless you are trying to handicap yourself or something. One thing I have learned from watching the Rays for most of a season...

He's benched now, but did ok, hitting 18HR's after I traded a struggling Gomes, and he hit .300.
