4 reasons why the Anaheim Dynasty might just be the greatest dynasty in the history of BMO.

1) NON-EQUALIZED league- Anaheim started out as a 4th tier team and never managed to pull in more than 649 points of revenue until 2019. Teams like the Mets Dodgers and Braves were making over 700 (900 for NYY) points since the first year of the league. Anaheim also starts out with some hideous contracts.

2) No Computer Trading- Couldn't sign overpriced FA and trade them to the computer teams for their best prospects.

3) Full League- The league had 30 human owners most of the years. The league never had less than 26 human owners. This led to strong competition for Free Agents. It wasn't one of those leagues where Randy Johnson is available as a free agent for 15 points a year.

4) Level of competition- The league was composed mostly of veteran BMO players (professor, dturkenk, Godard, etc.). The league also had a number of expert Moguls including Jetspy, KHKoenig, metdenn, Cipster and the two best players to ever play Baseball Mogul Online (Schaefling and Bad_Ash). Bottom-line, it wasn't a cakewalk league.

Well...I was smart to quit Oakland looking at how you've persisted.

What was with that initial 4th place finish?

A blot on an otherwise fine dynasty.

And a league that humbled the best of us.

I myself took Anaheim in the Sports Mogul League with all of the same scenarios you had. Crappy starting contracts, awesome human players to play against, never less than 26 owners, no computer trading, and mid-market to small-market revenue. Its been very tough, though were only in 2006. I would defintely agree that to win as much as you did is amazing. I finally got the Angels a world title in '05, but struggled near the bottom of the division until then as my prospects developed and the Oakland twin towers dominated the AL West. Congrats on a nice run. I assume youve taken up another lost cause in hope of a turnaround like TB or KC now. An Angels title is great, but to win with TB would be the ultimate.

I've never seen a team so dominant,I have a silver account and curently two of my teams are world champs and the third made the playoffs but for a team to win almost half the world titles over a 20 year span I think would be un-heard of.Great job especially considering you had a mid market team at best:)

yeah that is a great job. i recall someone doing something like that in Montreal, bringing up their revenue to that level as well. i dont know how much they won though or anything like that.
