In the "Advanced Tools" menu, the "Import Stadium Data" button does not work. When pressed the game says that the file "input/StadiumData.csv" cannot be found.

The default name of the .csv file in the input folder is "NewGameStadiums.csv." This is the cause of the problem. Once the .csv file is renamed to "StadiumData.csv" the import stadium data tool works.

Just thought I'd point that out so future editions can either include the correctly named .csv file or the import stadium data tool can search for the correct default NewGameStadiums.csv file.

Now I'm having a significant problem in that I can't even open BM!

The only thing I changed was the renaming of the NewGameStadiums.csv to StadiumData.csv. And now I get this error message:

I changed the .csv file back to NewGameStadiums.csv, but I still get the error message. Help.

Ok so I figured out the problem. I was changing the name of the file to NewGameStadium.csv instead of NewGameStadiums.csv

But still, the import stadium data tool error still exists. Doesn't work unless the file is named StadiumData.csv, but then BM won't open since the file is not named the default NewGameStadiums.csv

I hope people can follow what I'm saying. I kind of convoluted the whole thing by "introducing" the error message.

Run the installer again, and choose "repair installation". That will fix the problem with Mogul not starting, at least.

The check that the message box is mentioning checks the file name and the creation date, which is why it's giving you problems now.

Yeah I just renamed the file back to the original name and it opened fine.

But it doesn't make sense that the import stadium data tool asks for a file that doesn't exist.

Copy NewGameStadiums.csv and rename the copy StadiumData.csv.

Copy NewGameStadiums.csv and rename the copy StadiumData.csv.

Yeah that works. But is there a reason import stadium data asks for a different file than the default .csv?

Sounds like a relic from 2K4, when I was creating the stadium database.
