Does this happen every time you start a new game?

I started a game back in the beta period, and Swisher has 2007 stats.

Just checked my game and he does not have 2007 stats

Is Nick Swisher the only player that this is happening to?

No idea, but on the lineup screen, when you have it on 'Last Year', it does show stats, but they are not his 2006 or 2007.
Looks like the stats shown in the lineup screen are 2006 regular season plus 2006 post season.
So in order to check, one would to have to look at every player card. At least the above gives a clue to the error.
