11.19 Computer controled tickets and expenses not working correctly

when I check "let compute set ticket prices" it also takes over my expenses even tho I did'nt check that box.

every time i set my farm, health, and scouting funding it gets changed if i sim any amount of time.and it gets set to random figures. how do i shut this off?

First, exactly what version are you using?

Have you ever used the "let computer choose" option?

using '09. i find that every thing is going through the same problems, i.e. i chose pay tv and after simming a month it goes back to regular. the amount i spend on health et al all fluctuate as well. I have used the 'let comp decide' before but i find that even if i check it off, it doesn't always stay.

One thing to check is how much cash you have on hand, and that you're not losing money. If you are heading into the negatives, it will automatically reduce your spending, since you don't have the money necessary at that point.

Did you change which team you are controlling after starting the game? It sounds as though the team that you want to control is actually under the AI's control.

The other stuff sounds like a support issue, something is being done incorrectly...

All 3 expenses reset themselves to lower levels of spending. It happened in early June, soon after the draft (I doubt that matters).

No, I didn't check "computer set my expenses".

It's bad enough that the expenses exist at all. Changing on their own is just ridiculous.

By changing on their own, do you mean the actual dollar amounts, or your ratings (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.), because obviously the ratings will change as you're outspent.

I've experienced the same thing since BM 08. If I set all my expenses at 10mil then at the end of the season they're something different. And always less. I've always thought this was part of the game I just never understood why it happened.

I'm having the same problem right now. In a previous game I used the the let computer decide my expenses, and ever since then it has done it on its own. I make sure that the box is not checked every time I look at my finances, but after every sim it changes it.

This is a big issue and is making it very hard for me to build my expansion team with the AI insists that I out spend the Yankees!

The check box isn't working correctly anyway. If you check it, it should stay checked. If you uncheck it, it should stay unchecked.

It seems that if you are having this problem you can fix it by going in to the expenses screen and checking the box and then uncheck it.

That is what I just did and it appears that the expenses are no longer changing without my intervention.

I just updated the title on this to reflect that it's still broken in 11.19. This whole feature (both for tickets and expenses) needs to be finished in order to work correctly.

Not sure if this is a glitch or not. I'm using 11.19 and was wondering, under the Budget menu, should the Let The Computer Choose" check boxes for tickets, concessions and budget remained checked if you select them? As it is now, if I check any of the boxes and go back to look at the info later on, the boxes are unchecked. It would be nice if they remained checked if you select them.

I really wish that this would be given some priority. This is one of the features of Mogul 2009 that I was really looking forward to personally. It sucks that it doesn't work correctly.

I was playing 1969 and hit the computer to set my expenses. The computer put in over 3.5 million in expenses for medical when 350k was more than enough to be 1st in the category. It took close to 10 minutes holding down the downward arrow to get the expense correct. It would be nice to be able to type the expense number.

Also, I wish there was an option to stay in 1st in expense categories?

BTW, I am using the latest patch.
