Hey guys.. Just saw this, don't know if a thread has been created yet or not.. But here goes.

I just started a franchise, modern 2008 rosters.. Commish mode, all teams set to human.. and I was going to set the Diamondbacks pitching staff. Set the stats shown to last season, then when I looked at Brandon Lyon it says his ERA is 2.48 on the one screen, yet in his scouting report it's reported as 2.68 for the 2007 season. Happens with several players, yet not all of them.. (Tony Pena, Doug Slaten, Juan Cruz - All D'Backs pitchers just to name a few.)

Also, seems to be off by about .20 every time..

Just something I noticed.

Good catch. It's also happening with hitters and batting average/obp/slg...It seems nearly every player has that discrepancy, but there are some who match up just fine. The numbers on the scouting report are the correct ones, so I'm guessing there's a calculation error on the lineup/pitcihing dialog..

Hm. you're right. That's weird.

Same goes for hitters. HRs/RBIs are off too. Basically, for the large percentage of players that this is happening too, each stat is affected.

Can someone verify if the discrepency exists for the "This Season" dropdown when you sim, or if it's limited to "Last Season"? "Career" is correct.

This is related to what I found with the Nick Swisher bug. The numbers are off because they are regular season plus post season.

Actually... hasn't it always been that way?

Ohms: I never bothered to see, :p
