Hi, just downloaded the demo for this last night, so far, I'm liking what I see. Hadn't heard of this game before, but it's got nearly everything I want out of a baseball game. (i.e. managing, not playing the game)

I do have some questions about the Draft, though.

From what I can tell, the only "stats" I can get to show up from the Draftable players is their Scouting Rating. Is there no way to get it to show their amateur stats on this table?

Also, is there a way to filter the list at all? For example, if I only want to look at 3rd Basemen, who bat right handed?

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I look over more of the demo, but those're the two that stand out at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

You can't get the high school/college stats into the sortable columns, but you can click the columns and edit which values show.

The closest thing you can do to this is make the position and handedness columns show, and sort by position and then look throw the third basemen for righthanders.

Ok, had already figured out how to do those two things, was hoping I was missing something. Ah well.

Note that you can right click and copy the entire list to the clipboard. You can then paste it into Excel, or probably any other spreadsheet program, and use that to filter and sort to your heart's content. That works really well and is easy to do, which I think is mostly why none of those more advanced abilities have been added to the in game sortable stats lists (there's no way that Mogul will ever compete with Excel anyway).

Ah, good point.

Anyway to do that with Scouting Reports?

No

well, you can get (most of) the numbers in Sortable Stats, the Amateur Draft dialog, and the Find Player dialog.
