Anyway, I'm looking around for something like this. I've started 3 different games and looked at a few hundred players in each, and I can't seem to find anyone getting a 500 potential. 250-260 is the highest I'm seeing.
I don't disbelieve anyone here, but looking over at least part of the code and looking through 3 different games I'm thinking that this is just a bit of (good or bad?) luck. It shouldn't be common at all that players are getting potential > 250, and based on three games looking at tons of the players created, that seems to be the case. I'm open to being shown that I'm wrong though.
Just created this game.
Name, Potential
Justin Reed, 413
Austin Gallagher, 330
Denny Almonte, 339
Lyndon Estill, 500
Christian Marrero, 387
Salvador Sanchez, 500
Charlie Fermaint, 500
Joel Collins, 335
Jonathon Arencibia, 438
That is from 41 players that were on team rosters, with an upside >= 27. There were more that were in the 250-299 range, but I did not include them.
