When I try to view a box score or recap they wont open. saying the file doesnt exist. I have it on Save all games. Tried only my games, tried viewing it as HTML and in notepad. Nothing is working. Anybody know what could be wrong or what file could be messed up?

What's the exact error message that you're receiving?

File not found

Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program Files/Sports Mogul/Baseball 2009/Output/Box Scores/08-1005A.html.

* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.

* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

the leading slash in the path is the problem, but I have no idea where that could be coming from. I use Firefox and have never run across this myself.

What OS are you using? XP or Vista?

vista. I was pretty sure that was the problem. Dont know how to fix it though.

Me either, but thanks for bringing it up. What version of the game are you using right now?

11.06. I have never had this problem before. I had 2005 through 2008. I had 2008 on this same computer and didnt have this problem. But I downloaded 2009 and this has been happening the whole time. Everything else works great. I added all new photos for my players, when I make a trade for a player I then update his photo, added new logos, new stadium pic and all working well, but the box scores wont.

I'm using Vista with IE---not having any problems with that combination. Must be something between the interface from BM to Firefox through Vista.

What's the exact error message that you're receiving?

I'm playing on Basebal Mogul 2007, just started playing on a new comp. and I'm getting the same message when going to box scores and recap:

Cannot find the C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2007\Output\Box Scores\88-0401E.txt file.

Do you want to Create a new file?

I'm using vista / IE. Any one know why this would happen?

Dont know if the has anything to do with it maybe somebody using Vista can say weather theirs is installed this way. When I go to C:/programfiles/sportsmogul/baseball2009 there is a tab in the bar at the top that says "compatibility files". When I click it it takes me to C:/virtualstore/programfiles/sportsmogul/baseball2009 all the same files are here as in the other file. This may be why when I open Mogul up and resume a game my game is listed 2 times. Anybody know if this has anything to do with it????
If I try to delete the virtual folder it recreates itself. I am out of ides.

Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program Files/Sports Mogul/Baseball 2009/Output/Box Scores/08-1005A.html.That's not a typo? It actually says it's looking for a filename with a '/' before the 'C:'?

no typo. I copy and pasted. its looking for a file with a / before it. I downloaded the patch and it still didnt work. I just backed up all my photo files, and mog files and i am attempting to uninstall and reinstall.

When I download it doesn't ask where I want to save it to. It automatically downloads in C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\SportsMogul\Baseball 2009 Instead of creating the file in Program files. Then when I try to move it it leaves it in the old location and saves everything 2 times and wont access my box scores or recaps.

anybody know how to get the / in from of the file link? I uninstalled and reinstalled and its still doing it. I also still have this apps file where it saves my box scores not in the programs files.

There's really nothing anyone can do, we'll just have to wait for a fix is all.

Hopefully this will be in the next fix! I really miss checking out the box scores!

me to. I found out if I go into the users/apps/.... file there is an output folder in there and I can move the box scores into the progam file and they will work. I just need to know how to make it save them there all the time and quit creating the users/apps... file after I delete it over and over. See your a cards fan. I created Motte, McClellan, Mather. Have everything if you want it.

Yeah, that would be cool! McClellan looks like he is going to be a stud! Here's to us winning tonight against the crew!
