In the ninth inning of a tie game, the Phillies used their backup catcher Chris Coste as a pinch-hitter, despite other hitters on the bench, even some better hitters. The game went into extra innings and the Phillies used backup infielder Eric Bruntlett at catcher.

I know some work was recently done on the pinch-hitting AI, specifically in regards to catchers, so, I figured this should be reported.
