Changing a Pitchers position

I have Babe Ruth in my historic franchise and he is a SP and I would like to change him to OF naturally but I don't seem to be able to change pitcher's positions

You can go into Commissioner Mode (in Options), and use the Player Editor.

However, and somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, I think Babe Ruth changes to the outfield automatically the same year he really did in real life.

I just checked it using v11.10 and he changes automatically after the 1917 offseason, and he goes from a 73/82 P to a 92/93 LF.
