Has anyone else noticed that injuries are extremely frequent in baseball mogul 09. Also not only are they frequent but lengthy as well, i set my medical to number 1 all year and i still end up with 3 or 4 players who get injuries over 100 days! Whats up with that?

Absolutely nothing. Players have complained about excessive injuries before, but a few people did studies that show BM's on par, if not below, the 'real' Major League injury rate.

Yep.
If somebody lost their closer, their ace, and then their replacement closer, to an injury in Mogul, all within like 2 weeks of each other, they'd come post about it being a problem with the game. In real life, they're the Atlanta Braves.

I think if you play multiple seasons you will see that it evens out. Some years you get hit bad, and some years you don't get hit at all. You also have to look at the health ratings of the guys that are getting hurt. If a guy suffers a big time injury, he then becomes more prone to them in the future, especially if that guy is getting up there in age.

Well then you'd have to lose your #3 starter for 3 weeks and then you #4 guy too.

Real life teams get hit so hard that I can't even keep up with it all!

at least they're a bit more normal i seem to rember several years ago guys getting extremly wierd injuries (i think it had to do with the cpu just putting random injury + random body part) like "dislocated neck" and "lacerated eye"
of course now you see some like "ruptured knee ligaments- out 3 weeks" .. whaaa fast healer i guess . . .

Personally I like the two or three week injuries that basically translate to "broken back." :X

you can tweak injury frequency to -30% and you might be happier.

I tweak the severity. That is just personal preference. It seemed like my top guys kept getting serious injuries and then just never coming on like they should have during their peak.
