BJ Suroff, You amaze me. Never have I seen this terrible fielding... Of course his ratings indicate that he cant field, but this is a little extreme. (for some unknown reason at every position his fielding rating is 25. I see a future as a dh coming. Also, note his 32 overall rating) =o

If he's not on your team you should be able to get him cheap.

I think if he bicycle kicked every ball hit his way out of the stadium....this is possible....

Yeah he is on my team lol, a 1st rounder. When drafted he had a 57 overall, but as soon as i choose him that disapearred. I wonder how in '83 he made -641 errors?

If you want to bring him back to a realistic level you should switch into commioner mode (under options), go to his player card, click edit player and lower his predicted errors.

How did he even have that many fielding attempts?

That's funny.

Interestingly (OK, well, to *me*, anyway ;-) ), "my" Surhoff is a HoF player who had a .988 fielding % as catcher, and an All-Star appearance.

In fact, he's fielded every position except pitcher, although he didn't catch at all in the last ten seasons of his career.

Most of that must come directly from the original database. I started my league in 2006, and he retired early in that season.

Wait a second...

He played catcher for the Brewers when he was 9?!

What a prodigy!

Hmm, 30 years old, retired and in the Hall of Fame with NINETEEN SEASONS

I've heard of straight out of college to the bigs, but straight out of T-Ball????

According to that screenshot, at the age of NINE Surhoff played in over 100 games in the bigs, starting in over 90.

I guess at the age of 30 he's already been retired a couple of years. :)

There is only one possibility...BJ Surhoff is some sort of dark Necromancer, and feasible stats are being pulled in to the void of his power.

He probably lied on his birth certificate.

LOL. There was a funny bit about that very subject in tonight's Nats/Brewers game.
