I think that the game engine has a lot of this built into it but I would like to see some of this included in the play-by-play text output.

Timeouts. When they get used and how many are left.
When a player goes out of bounds and stops the clock on a play.

I watched as my Bucs had a 28-21 lead in the Super Bowl late in the 4th quarter. They then threw an incomplete pass on 1st down which stopped the clock with under 3 minutes left. I would have hoped/expected that they would run the ball to kill some time and get the other team to call a timeout. As it was, they ended up having to punt the ball back, gave up a TD and then lost it in OT.
