We have had the pleasure of Joe Morgan posting on these boards. People have different opinions of him. What is yours?

But no matter how our opinions of Joe may differ, we must agree that a solid foundation of good pitching and good hitting is key to scoring more runs than the opponent and winning ball games.

You can't actually believe that this is the real Joe Morgan!
Even he can't be this stupid.
On Russell Martin- "He's also from Canada I believe, so it's difficult to get him out."
On the Indians' struggles- "Cleveland is in Ohio as well, and the state motto there is 'With God, all things are possible', so Cleveland fans maybe need to pray."
On whether Jeff Kent is better than Mr. Morgan- "Jeff Kent is a second baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers right now. We played in two very different eras, so it is very hard to compare two players this way. Jeff Kent is a very good player, but I have never seen him play. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as well, and I am not. So that is probably the biggest difference between us. Also, I have heard that I am better-looking than him, but I cannot confirm that now."
Anyone who reads FJM can attest to Joe's rampant stupidity, but this is ridiculous.

Joe Morgan is not a good broadcaster, and all he ever talks about is how he had a Hall of Fame career.. never anything goood about the game. Relates everything to his own career.

Joe Morgan is a baseball broadcaster. He also used to play second base for the the Cincinnati reds. They were known as the Big Red Machine, but Joe is neither big nor red nor a machine.

I tend to agree. I would also like to state that Joe Morgan used to play second base. He played for the Reds.

I agree. I don't have all day to sit here and read post and having to fish through his BS is time consuming, it actually takes away from reading something that could be helpful.

Then don't read it. *shakes head* If a poster is consistently bothering you (with their content), then when you see their name pop up just skip past what they write and go to the next caller. Simple.

Looking up the name Belial (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belial), I learned that the etymology of the word is uncertain but is most commonly translated as "without worth". Now, I don't know what "etymology" is, but at my last check-up, I know I didn't have it. Just because your name means you are worthless does not mean you are worthless to me. I was telling Jon about you the other day. I can't remember what I told him, but I did tell him about you.
