Hi, BBMO Fans -

I periodically get requests from users who have decided to close their BBMO account, and need help with the process.

The following directions will allow you any user to de-activate their account so they will no longer be billed.

1.) Log on to your account with your username and password. This will take you to the "My Account" page.
2.) Click the link for "Update Account Information"
3.) Click the button "Edit Billing Information"
4.) From the "Account Type" Drop-Down box, select "None"
5.) Click the button "Submit Information"
6.) You will be asked to confirm your account cancellation, and will be told what day it will take effect
7.) Click the button "Submit Billing Changes" to confirm the cancellation.

Because Baseball Mogul Online is billed in advance, your account will not be de-activated immediately. Your account will remain open and playable until the end of the current billing cycle. The date at which your account will be de-activate is shown in step 6 above, and is also indicated at the top of your Billing Information page (step 4 above).

If you decide to continue playing Baseball Mogul Online, you can follow the instructions above to change your Account Type back to Bronze, Silver, or Gold. If you do this before your account closes, there will be no additional charge for making this change. After the account closing date, you will have to pay the normal one-month subscription fee if you want to re-activate your account.

Thanks for playing!

Aww, ****.

I just deleted my account before I read this. I didn't do anything to the billing information. Is there a way you could restore my account or make it so I am not billed anymore?

I didn't realize I was getting charged for this! I was still using my gift card from Mogul 2003, but I figured the game would tell me when my free gameplay was up.

What a crappy situation this is. What should I do?

You shouldn't have been billed...

We've been a bit lax about cutting off the free accounts, since we've been focusing on Football Mogul. So the new users have gotten some extra time for free...

If you delete your account it will also end any billing. But that takes effect immediately, not at the end of the billing cycle, and there is no way to turn the account back on, so we don't recommend it.
