After enjoying this great game for the past weeks, I'm now ready to try to use the "mod" possibilities. For a start, could anybody tell me where I can get Montreal Expos logos (past and pres...eee..new past)? I found a lot of actual logos but had trouble finding old ones.
Thanks a lot! I look forward using a lot of these "mods". By the way, if you have some tips for me on the best mods on the market, I'd be pleased to hear from you!

If you want to make your own logos: http://www.chriscreamer.com/team.php?id=66. Logos must be 150×150, which are also the same dimensions used by OOTP so you can use ones made for those games as well.

Ok thanks, so I can use whatever logo I find on the net and they will be BBM09 ready? I mean, I don't have to use necessarily those on this site? Would be nice though, because some of the work done here is awesome...no Expos' logo in this BBM site?

correct.
I'm pretty positive that several of the logo packages that people have put together include Expos logos.

Thanks again Ohms, you're always of great help. I was also wondering: are the logos changing automatically as my franchise progress? I downloaded Enzoli pack but it uses, for example, the 2008 Tigers logo instead of the 1969. Is it because this pack is only for actual dynasties or because I missed something? It does not include Expos or Pilots logos...

No, the logos don't change automatically. I wish they would. Robin and I were asking about that during the 2008 beta.
:(
IIRC, Enzoli's pack only contains the current teams.

My set contains these Expos logos. If you don't want the whole set, just put these in the appropriate folder and the EMB logo will be the default.

I'll have the whole set, it looks great! Do I have to change the name of the files or will the logos work directly after I put them in my folder?

They should work fine without any additional modification.

The only modification you'll have to do is to remove the number at the end of the alternates in order to use them. Just remember if you DO use an alternate, to add a number or letter to the end of the default so that you don't lose it.
The Expos logos are mon and mon 2, just make mon into mon 3, and then rename mon 2 to mon to use the second logo.

All right, thanks for helping me, I'll get better as I use them.
Edit: I don't know why, but when I started using your logos, the Season record color on the Calendar screen has changed from red to grey...any clue on this?

Sorry to add another message, but the forum didn't mentioned my edit...

I doubt that has anything to do with the logos themselves. Did you add them to a custom skin, or did you simply dump them into the SportsMogul\Logos folder?
It might clear up simply be closing the program and reopening it, too.

I added them to a custom skin folder I created. I tried to close and reopen the program but I didn't change anything.
When I switch back to the original logos though, the title goes back to red...

Ah, OK. Go to the SportsMogul folder and copy NewsColors.ini, then paste it into the custom skin folder.

A menu command to make a custom skin folder and copy the needed files might be a good idea, and should not take too much work on the programming side. That might solve a lot of problems people have with mods.

Love the 2nd logo, thanks for sharing!

Sorry Ohms, but I did the steps you told me to do and I didn't change anything. Plus, I paste it in the custom skin folder and in the logos folder I created.

It's not a big deal at all, I just realized that the color (Season Record) has changed from red to grey...

Humm... I'm not positive what the problem could be, but it's got to have something to do with the skin.
NewsColors.ini should be in the base folder of every skin that you have. In other words, there's the Skins folder, which has a folder for each separate skin, and there shold be a NewsColors.ini file right inside each of those individual folders. You don't need (and probably shouldn't have) any other NewsColors.ini files.
Anyway, go to the folder that you created to put the new logos in and open up the NewsColors.ini file located there (to edit it). There's a line in there for:
CALENDAR_SEASON_RECORD 200,95,95
That's the value that it should be: 200,95,95
