Every time I try to sign in on the forums here, it just sends me back to the signin page. I made a new account and it worked one time, but the same thing happened to this account the next day. The only way I was able to sign in was to go back to my registration/activation e-mail, click the link which told me it was already activated, and sign in that way.

This happens on my XP computer, Mac OSX computer, and my other XP computer on Safari, Firefox, and IE. This doesn't happen on any forum board other than this.

You may have to go to Internet Options (On IE under Tools) and lower you internet settings to low. Having it higher may block some cookies.

It is on low, cookies enabled. Similar settings on my other browsers.

Mmm... cookies.

You could try clearing your cache, but that will clear out all of your cookies. I'm not sure how to delete specifc cookies in IE...

For IE you can go to Internet Options and there is a button you press it'll load everything that is deleteable and then you can click Delete Cookies. I am pretty sure that should be for just IE

Yea but... where? I see them for History, and in the Privacy tab there's a setting for Sites where you can put in specific exceptions to the privacy rule that you set. I don't see anything to handle specific cookies though.

This is so easy in Firefox...

Ah, there it is... but, that deletes all cookies. There's noting that I see to manage individual cookies.

That's odd. What version are you using? I had that problem for a while, but they've updated Firefox several times since and it's been fixed for a long time now.

If you're having trouble with the Internets, then you probably need to buy a new Internets viewing machine.

Is this "viewing machine" also an invention of Al Gore's?
I know he invented the internets, and carbon credits, but is he also the genius behind these "viewing machines"?

If there weren't term limits I'd vote for George this time around. Gawd, Gore and Kerry weren't bad enough, now the Dems throw out Obama.
